There are two sessions each day. You will be assigned to either the am session (8-11) or the pm session (12-3) allowing you ample time to network, sightsee, socialize, and enjoy the beautiful beaches.
For over a decade behavior analysts have been increasing their utilization of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in a variety of practice settings. Come learn the ropes of how to use ACT in your work, and in your own life. Dr. Dixon will provide an overview of the ACT model, techniques to make it accessible to young children, persons with autism, and adults with a wide range of disabilities. Find out ways that staff can improve their job and life satisfaction, and parents can come to greater appreciate their kids by doing ACT.
This workshop is a free event. It is a giveback to the behavioral community that has wanted to attend prior ACT trainings but unable to do so. Now you can spend your workshop funds on other things - and get moving on using the power of ACT in ABA!
